Five things worth doing before you ask for a quote

  1. Write down the real end date: Not the optimistic one. If the project has slipped twice already, plan for a third.
  2. Separate confirmed from expected team size: Rent the confirmed number and add as people start, rather than paying for empty desks.
  3. Ask about extension terms up front: An extension arranged early is routine; one arranged the week machines are due is not.
  4. Include spares for events: On a one-day event a dead machine with no spare is a visible failure, and a spare is cheap by comparison.
  5. Check what is included: Delivery, setup and collection inside our delivery area are part of the rental. Worth confirming with any supplier rather than assuming.
